NYPD stormtroopers to patrol subways

DHS and the NYPD have collaborated to bring us another taxpayer funded PR stunt. At a cost of $30 million dollars for the next two years, ‘Operation Torch’ will put heavily armed officers in the subways in a mostly futile effort to prevent terrorist attacks.

US troop deaths in Pakistan?

Passport posted today on NATO troop commitments in Afghanistan by the numbers. Instead of listing the exact troop numbers, they used a ratio of the members’ population between 20-39/troops. Included in this was the death count:

‘FBI Deputizes Business’

A radical allegation has surfaced alleging that the FBI is preparing infrastructure related private businesses for martial law under an organization called InfraGard.
Included in this program are representatives from agriculture, banking and finance, the chemical industry, defense, energy, food, information and telecommunications, law enforcement, public health, and transportation.
