LA Homicide Report: it’s bloody

This is eye opening. LA Times maintains a blog called “The Homicide Report” which tracks, you guessed it, homicides in LA. They also have a visual representation of the reports here. The amount of violence there is staggering.

LA is a liberal town, and most liberal towns have high crime and violence rates. You can thank illegal aliens and excessive constraints on law enforcement - and the liberal politicians.

Any facts to support those suppositions, Dog? I’m particularly interested in LA’s ‘excessive constraints’ on law enforcement. Could you provide an example?

Top of the list: They are forbidden from checking the immigration status of some Latino gang member they might stop.

I know - I use to live down in that sewage hole - have you?

Dog, please don’t mislead my readers. You’re referring to the LAPD’s Special Order 40 and you’ve misrepresented its contents with malice:

“Officers shall not initiate police action with the objective of discovering the alien status of a person.”

That doesn’t say police can’t run immigrant status checks. It simply states that immigrant status cannot serve as probable cause to initiate contact. Read: police can’t pull someone over for looking ‘illegal.’ If someone is brought in on other charges unrelated to immigration, then the police can perform a check to see if that person is here legally or not.

So by “some Latino gang members” you mean law abiding Hispanics. And what you’re calling ‘excessive constraints’ on law enforcement is actually your desire to round up all the Hispanics in LA. I guess we know why you left.

What say you?
