Andrew Sullivan’s narrow universe

Andrew Sullivan is one of the best and most accomplished bloggers. Yet lately he seems to be lost in the deep and unforgiving well that is Obama-mania. Now I am a proud supporter of Obama, but not narrowly so. I post on topics other than just the election and Obama. Reading Sullivan’s blog, on the other hand, is like drinking water from a fire hose — the water being pro-Obama material. For example, take his last seven posts from yesterday:

Of course, Andrew Sullivan is a blogger. As such, content decisions and slants are completely at his discretion. That said, it’s difficult to read a blog with such a narrow and relentless focus. He can support-defend-fight for Obama without the current saturation.
